Neither Lacie nor I am very good at updating our blog, so you wouldn't know it, but I've been down in Florida since January 5th. I'm running a winter office for Pinnacle Security. It's been so nice to get away from the snow; I don't think I could have handled another round of shoveling the driveway before I left.
Well anyways, this last Sunday Brad Bowen and I decided to take a drive down through the Florida Keys just to see what it was all about. We stopped at this beautiful little beach area on Marathon Key. It really was quite exquisite; we caught it at sunset, and there was an amazing glow on the water with pink and salmon tones. The water was only an inch or two deep for a hundred yards out, so we walked out to a little sandbar to really enjoy the grandeur of the scene.
One of the best aspects of working in the security industry for Lacie and me is being able to see all these different parts of the country and not just see them, but actually live in them and experience them for a time. By the way, If you are wondering why Lacie isn't pictured, it's because she is still in Rexburg. She's flying down this weekend, and I couldn't be more excited: I haven't been able to focus all week for anticipation of seeing Lacie on Sunday.

Wow... that beach is beautiful. I know Lace is excited to see you! She talks about you every time I see her.
As for shoveling duties, we're still waiting for Dawson to come home and do his chores, haha. Just kidding, it hasn't been too bad.
We're still waiting to hear back from the dental schools. Any day now...
You've had several letters come from law schools. I think Lace took them home.
