Our New Bed

We decided that we wanted a new bed; but instead of buying one, I got the nerve to make one. My brother Makay and I both decided we wanted to test our woodworking skills (or prove the lack thereof) by attempting to make a bed. Here's how mine turned out.












Lacie did the detailed paint job. I love it; she did a great job. We have seen other "distressed" furniture and decided to duplicate it the look with the black edges. She also painted the grains of the wood. It may seem like it is stained, but this is painted.
